Arizona State University at Lake Havasu City (ASU at Lake Havasu) is a satellite campus of the Arizona State University in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It opened in fall 2012 and focuses on an experiential, student-centered approach to learning. [1] The university plans to close the campus in June 2025 due to state budget cuts. [2]
In 2006, the College of Public Programs relocated from Wilson Hall [5] on the university's Tempe campus to Arizona State University's newly planned Downtown Phoenix campus. Arizona State University at the West Valley campus is a public university in Phoenix, Arizona. It is one of five university campuses [ 3 ] that compose Arizona State University (ASU). The West Valley campus was established by the Arizona Legislature in 1984, [ 4 ] and is located in northwest Phoenix , bordering the city of Glendale .
In 2014, the College of Technology and Innovation on ASU's Polytechnic campus was renamed The Polytechnic School and became the sixth school in the Fulton Schools. [3] In August 2021, the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering introduced the seventh Fulton School, the School of Manufacturing Systems and Networks (MSN) on the Polytechnic campus.
Together, these entities make up what is known as the Williams Campus. In July 2005, the ASU campus changed its name from ASU East to ASU Polytechnic. In the Fall 2008 semester a major expansion project at the campus was completed and open to students in the form of the new Polytechnic Academic Complex.
New College is located on ASU's West Valley campus. The college resembles a traditional liberal arts and science college, but with an interdisciplinary focus, in which faculty are grouped into broad divisions rather than discipline-specific departments. [ 1 ]
