Huế (formerly Thừa Thiên Huế province) is a southernmost coastal city in the North Central Coast region, the Central of Vietnam, approximately in the center of the country. It borders Quảng Trị to the north, Quảng Nam and Đà Nẵng to the south, Salavan of Laos to the west and the South China Sea to the east.

On January 1, 2025, Thừa Thiên Huế province was upgraded to become Vietnam's sixth centrally-governed municipality, named Huế. The former provincial city was dissolved to establish two new urban districts: Phú Xuân district and Thuận Hóa district. Following the conquest of the city in 1307 by Vietnam, it was renamed to Huế.
Phú Vang is located in Thừa Thiên Huế province, North Central Coast of Vietnam. It covers a total area of 235.31 square kilometres (90.85 sq mi). Phú Vang borders the district of Hương Thủy on the west, Phú Lộc district on the south, Huế to the north and the South China Sea on the east. [2]
Thừa Thiên Huế, the southernmost province of Vietnam's North Central Coast region, existed until 2025 of which the whole province is now direct-controlled as a municipality. Thuận Hải – administrative grouping of Ninh Thuận and Bình Thuận provinces between 1975 and 1991. Tuyên Đức – existed from 1958 until 1976.
The tomb is a group of tombs and was well known for its beauty. The tomb originally had a main complex that formed by the double-grave tomb of the emperor and empress Thừa Thiên in the center; Minh Thanh Temple, the dedicated temple of Gia Long and Thừa Thiên in the right, and the monument of Gia Long in the left.
