TiLite is a company that produces custom ultralight manual wheelchairs made from titanium, aluminum, and carbon fiber materials. [1] The company is known for creating personalized wheelchairs through a process called TiFit, which involves tailoring each wheelchair to the exact specifications of its user.
The individual approvals of the Cora by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) were done under the name Zee Aero Mule SPA, [3] then as Kitty Hawk Mule SPA. [4] The development, testing and operation takes place in collaboration with the New Zealand subsidiary Zephyr Airworks, founded by Kitty Hawk in December 2016.
Wisk Aero's predecessor, Zee Aero, was founded in 2010 with backing from Google's co-founder Larry Page. [4] In 2017, Zee Aero was merged with Kitty Hawk, which made an ultralight aircraft that could take off vertically over open water. [5] In March 2018, Kitty Hawk rebranded its Zee.Aero group as Cora.
