Although Cooper is unable to arrive at the Twin Peaks sheriff's station before his doppelgänger, the doppelgänger is killed by Lucy Brennan (Kimmy Robertson) and BOB is destroyed by Freddie Skyes (Jake Wardle), allowing Cooper to return his doppelgänger's spirit to the Black Lodge.
