Chapters 10, 11, and 12 in the Book of Daniel make up Daniel's final vision, describing a series of conflicts between the unnamed "King of the North" and "King of the South" leading to the "time of the end", when Israel will be vindicated and the dead raised, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

[1] Rurik and Erik was the same person. According to Olov von Dalin 1747 that referenced older Swedish sources Rurik was a son of Björn Ironside. Due to the fire 1697 in Tre Kronor alot older Swedish sources got lost. He would be the same person as Erik Björnsson. He got the lands from his uncle Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye when he died.
Björn Ironside (Swedish: Björn Järnsida) (Old Norse: Bjǫrn Járnsíða), [a] according to Norse legends, was a Norse Viking chief and Swedish king. According to the 12th- and 13th-century Scandinavian histories, he was the son of notorious Viking king Ragnar Lodbrok and lived in the 9th century AD, attested in 855 and 858. [ 1 ]
