In Lego Dimensions, Ninjago appears as one of the Year 1 franchises in the game. The Ninjago part of the game takes place during the fourth season of the series. In the game, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Lloyd, Sensei Wu, Nya, Sensei Garmadon, P.I.X.A.L., and Dareth are playable.
An app game titled Lego Ninjago: Skybound was released to accompany the season. It is a side-scrolling platform game for Android devices. The plot involves playing as the main ninja character Jay to stop Nadakhan and his Sky Pirates from stealing parts of Ninjago and rebuilding his realm.
There, the ninja find the legendary, unreleased arcade game called Prime Empire. Realizing the game is missing a motherboard, Jay inserts the motherboard and the game boots up. While Jay plays the game, the other ninja make their way into the Mechanic's private office where they intercept a phone call intended for the Mechanic.

To make matters worse, Jay pricks his hand on the fang of a skeletal Fangpyre, triggering a transformation. The other three ninja fail to stop Pythor and the Serpentine from retrieving the first Fangblade.
