The N-25 or National Highway 25 (Urdu: قومی شاہراہ ۲۵) is a 813 km national highway in Pakistan which extends along from Karachi in Sindh province to Pakistan's Chaman border with Afghanistan via Quetta in Balochistan province of Pakistan. Khuzdar, though one of the important cities of Balochistan is a small sized city located in Khuzdar District in Balochistan, Pakistan. The city of Khuzdar is situated on National Highway linking Pakistan, Iran and Turkey. It is about 400 km from Karachi and 300 km from Quetta, both of them being major cities in the country.

The N-30 or National Highway 30 (Urdu: قومی شاہراہ ۳۰) is a 110 km national highway in Pakistan which extends from Basima to Khuzdar in Balochistan province. [1] It is maintained and operated by Pakistan's National Highway Authority. [2] [3]
Under Abbasid rule a route from Iran through north-west Balochistan connected Qandabil, Kalat, Khuzdar, and Multan. A caravan route connected Khuzdar with Sehwan. After the decline of Arab rule, Sabuktigin, the founder of the Ghaznavid dynasty, conquered Khuzdar. [10] Khuzdar became the capital of the Brahui kingdom of Makran. [11]
