The basic curriculum at St. Anthony's includes required courses in Theology, English, Social Studies and Physical Education (4 years); Mathematics, Science, Foreign Language (3 years); Fine Arts (Health, Art, Music or Drama) (1 year). Honors and Advanced Placement courses are offered to students who qualify, with electives in all disciplines.
St. Anthony's High School opened on Sept. 12, 1984 at the former site of Holy Family High School. [18] Formerly an all-boys high school in Smithtown, St. Anthony's student body was moved to the new location in South Huntington when the Diocese of Rockville Centre decided to close Holy Family High School. [19]
In 1940, the Brothers of Holy Cross joined the Sisters on campus and St. Anthony became a boys' school and a girls' school with facilities dedicated to each on the same campus. In 1972 the two schools merged and St. Anthony became coeducational once again. Today, St. Anthony High School is an Archdiocesan high school and remains a co-ed school. [3]

The St Anthony School was founded in 1998 by Tony Cinquepalmi. The school is run by Tony Cinquepalmi, along with a variety of licensed therapists, experienced special education teachers, and behavioral specialists. Tony Cinquepalmi received his master's degree in Education and also has Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of North Texas.
