Tacoma Science and Math Institute (also known as SAMi), is a public high school in the Tacoma Public Schools district. It is located in Metro Parks Tacoma in Tacoma, Washington . The school offers an integrated inquiry-based curriculum for students in grades 9-12 that combines the arts, science, math, and environmental and marine studies.
Tacoma School, also known as Tacoma School Community Center, is a historic school building in Coeburn, Wise County, Virginia. It was built in 1922 and rebuilt after a fire in 1937. The Tacoma Science and Math Institute, or SAMI, opened for the 2009–2010 school year. Industrial Design, Engineering, and Arts, also known as IDEA was opened in the 2016–2017 school year. They are both the district's other magnet schools, with a schedule and concept similar to SOTA. [14]
