The Nigerian Medical Students' Association (NiMSA) [1] is the official umbrella organization of all medical students studying in recognized medical schools in Nigeria, irrespective of their nationalities. It is the official student arm of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) [2] [3] (Act Cap 221 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria).
It has produced 15 sets of medical graduates comprising 846 students. The 50-student quota for intake at inception increased to 100 in 2013. As of 2023, the LASUCOM has graduated and inducted into their respective professional fields, 16 sets of Medical Doctors, 6 sets of Dental Surgeons and 3 sets of Nursing Science students.
