The British National Hill Climb Championship is a hill climbing competition held annually by Cycling Time Trials with the location varying year on year. The first edition was in 1944 and it has been won by some of the best all-round British cyclists, such as Brian Robinson , Paul Curran , Malcolm Elliot , Chris Boardman and Jeff Williams .

Wiscombe Park Hillclimb is a British hillclimb, situated in Colyton, Devon. The course, which is 1000 yards (914 metres) in length — the same as Shelsley Walsh — was opened in 1958. The course was extended in 1961 when the record was held by Addicott in a Lotus at 49.3 secs. [ 1 ]

The 2024 British Cycling National Track Championships were a series of track cycling competitions. The National Track Championships (excluding certain events) were held from 23 to 25 February 2024 at the Manchester Velodrome in Manchester. The first event on the track took place on 16 September 1962, and Best Time of the Day was set at 51.61s by Tony Lanfranchi driving an Elva Mk VI. This was on the original 'Short Course'. The first R.A.C. Hill Climb Championship event was held in September, 1964. [1] In the mid 1990s the track was extended to 1,584 yards (1,448 m).
