East Grand Rapids Public Schools is a school district located within East Grand Rapids, Michigan. Founded in 1841, the district limits mirror the city limits except for a small grouping of homes north of the city.
Miss Sophia Reed and Miss Euphemia Davis opened a school in 1834 near Reeds Lake. This involved construction of some school houses. Forest Hills Central High School is located in Ada Township, Michigan, near Grand Rapids. [ 3 ] [ 4 ] It is one of three high schools in the Forest Hills Public Schools system. The district also includes Forest Hills Eastern High School (FHE) and Forest Hills Northern High School (FHN).
