Fu Jen Catholic University (FJU, FJCU or Fu Jen; Chinese: 天主教輔仁大學 or 輔仁大學) is a private Catholic university in Xinzhuang, New Taipei City, Taiwan.The university was founded in 1925 in Beijing at the request of Pope Pius XI and re-established in Taiwan in 1961 at the request of Pope John XXIII.
After Liu's graduation, she became Associate Professor in English Department of Fu Jen Catholic University between 1984 and 1994. In 1988, she became the chair of the department. In 1994, she became the director of Graduate Institute of Comparative Literature in Fu Jen Catholic University.

On December 14, it was approved by Congregation for Catholic Education and announced by the Roman Curia. [7] He has officially assumed the post of president of Fu Jen Catholic University on February 1, 2024. [8]
