The MRT Line 4 (Bengali: এমআরটি লাইন ৪) of Dhaka Metro Rail is a proposed mass rapid transit line, stretching from the city's main railway station to the Bandar Upazila. This line is scheduled to be completed by 2030 and will be operated by the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).
In August 2018, Bangladesh Bridge Authority (BBA) appointed a Spanish consulting company to conduct the feasibility study and preliminary design of Dhaka Subway. [2] Initial plan was to construct a subway network of 90km, consisting of four lines, with stations spaced at an average distance of approximately one kilometer.
