Muscat Bay is a resort in Oman, located at Bandar Jissah near Qantab. [1] Previously named Saraya Bandar Jissah, the project was rebranded as Muscat Bay in 2017. [ 2 ] The resort is supported by the Omani government as part of an effort to expand the tourism industry in the country.
The second phase, which includes the convention centre itself being built by a joint venture between Shapoorji Pallonji and Oman Shapoorji Company, [4] is due to open in June 2018. [5] The convention centre has an auditorium which can accommodate 3,200 people and a theatre which can host 450 people.
