Bounce is a platformer mobile game series published by Nokia, revolving around the player controlling a red ball and navigating through levels. After the original Bounce, which was a 2D platformer, Nokia made a follow up named Bounce Back, and later teamed up with Rovio Entertainment who developed numerous new titles until 2010, including games set in 3D worlds.
The game starts with two atoms (red-and-white balls), bouncing about a room (the rectangular field of play). The player points at a position within the room and clicks to start building either vertical or horizontal lines, also called walls, from the pointer position, either up and down or left and right.
Losing hazard (in-off in snooker terms) – striking one's cue ball so that it hits another ball and then enters a pocket: 3 points if the red ball was hit first; 2 points if the other cue ball was hit first; 2 points if the red and the other cue ball are hit simultaneously. Combinations of the above may all be scored on the same shot.

Butts Up or Wall Ball is a North American elementary school children's playground game originating in the 1950s or earlier. [ citation needed ] . It is slightly similar to the game Screen Ball, and began in the 1940s or 1950s as a penalty phase of various city street games.
American-style eight-ball arose around 1900, derived from basic pyramid pool. [1] In 1925, the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Company began offering ball sets specifically for the game using unnumbered yellow and red balls (in contrast to the numbered solids and stripes found in most pool ball sets), a black eight ball, and the white cue ball.
Winning hazards: potting the red ball (3 points); potting the other cue ball (2 points). Losing hazards (or "in-offs"): potting one's cue ball by cannoning off another ball (3 points if the red ball was hit first; 2 points if the other cue ball was hit first, or if the red and other cue ball were "split", i.e., hit simultaneously).
