Novotel Suites, [1] formerly branded as Suite Novotel, is a chain of 4-star hotels owned by the Accor Group. It was conceived as an apartment hotel expansion of its sister brand Novotel , one of the chain's main midscale hotel brands.

The island of Porto Santo was the first of the Madeira Islands to obtain an airport. In 1959, [2] its runway was built with an initial length of 2,000 m (6,600 ft). The first aircraft to land at this airport was a TAP Air Portugal Douglas DC-4, on 20 July 1960.
The airport is located on the northwestern edge of the atoll, 5.5 km southeast of Avatoru. The airport was built in 1965. [1] Air Tahiti has regular daily flights connecting Rangiroa to other islands of French Polynesia. [2] In 2018, 89,122 passengers utilized the airport. [3]
