The Karnataka Legislative Council (formerly the Mysuru Legislative Council) is the upper house of the state legislature of Karnataka.
This is a list of current and past members of the Karnataka Legislative Council.The state elects members for a term of 6 years. 25 members are indirectly elected by the state legislators, 25 members are elected by Local Authorities, 7 from Graduates constituencies and 7 from teachers constituencies.
Among the 75 members of the Legislative Council, 25 are elected by the Karnataka Legislative Assembly members, 25 are elected by local authorities, 7 are elected by the Graduates, 7 are elected by the Teachers and 11 members are nominated by the Governor of Karnataka.
