In 1997 it was updated to have a single rounded triangular headlight as well as some other minor bodywork changes.
The Yamaha FZR600 is a sports motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 1988 and 1996 (1999 in the USA). It was the successor to the FZ600 and was replaced by the Yamaha YZF600R in 1997. It had a steel Deltabox frame and swingarm, similar in appearance to the alloy Deltabox frame introduced three years earlier on the 1WG FZR400.

The engine is retuned for more usable midrange power. As a multi-purpose motorcycle it can handle sport riding, touring, and commuting.
The 2013 ZX-6R 636 is a brand new bike, making it the model with the most power output to date. Engine displacement has again been increased to 636 cc, with two fuel maps available to choose via a switch on the handlebars.
