Here's my first installment - the human endocrine system. I made this to help me memorize all the hormones, and honestly it worked like a charm. I'd highly reccomend everyone to attempt to make this themselves, but if you're not able to, feel free to refer to my illustration instead. Heart also releases a hormone called ANP (atrial natriuretic peptide) which decreases blood pressure through renal sodium excretion. Easiest way to learn the hormones for the endocrine system. Anterior pituitary: FLAT PEG which is a mnemonic for FSH, LH, ACTH, TSH, prolactin, "endorphins", GH. Worth noting the flat are your tropic ones that don’t act directly while the peg ones are direct hormones! Personally endocrine system fascinated me, it’s my favorite system….
Endocrine disruptors. New mattresses, carpets, flooring, the chemicals that leach into your tap water and aren't filtered out, the pollution you breathe in each day... Hell, blue light and EMF are technically endocrine disruptors since they mess with melatonin levels. Don't freak out about it though.
