Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class Jetfire (2009) A larger version of Jetfire (and the largest of the Leader Class), with MechAlive technology and a more complex transformation procedure. Features electronic lights and sounds, and says "Jetfire's my name." in a Scottish accent. Also combines with the newer Leader Class Optimus Prime.
The Fallen steals the Matrix from a weakened Optimus and uses it to activate the star harvester. After Jetfire (who is wounded by Scorponok, but was able to kill his attacker) sacrifices himself to allow his parts to be used for additional power and flight, Optimus destroys the harvester, severely wounds Megatron, and kills the Fallen.
Thunderblast leads Wing Saber and Lori across a city right to the water, her natural environment. Lori takes control of the cranes and pins Thunderblast down, then Wing Saber blasts her away. Meanwhile, Jetfire and Thundercracker become seriously damaged. Then the backup team arrives. Coby checks on Jetfire while Quickmix cements Thundercracker.
Magnus spots Slicer and Soundwave, then orders Slicer to kill Soundwave. The latter communicates with Starscream's spark, which is merging with Metroplex's. Soundwave kills Rodimus to save Slicer before releasing Jetfire. Slicer, only there to save his friend Ratchet, escapes and Soundwave along with Jetfire, go to retrieve Starscream's spark.
Later, the Autobot Jetfire and Decepticon Sky-Byte come to Earth, pursuing one another to put an end to their rivalry. Starscream pits the two against one another to distract both sides from his plans, but this eventually leads to the two leading their respective sides to right to him.
Jetfire isn't happy to be bringing Starscream at all, but they head out, with Jetfire wielding the Skyboom and Starscream wielding the Star Saber. Megatron, having been briefed by Thrust on the Mini-Con and on the potential of the three weapons, recognizes that the Autobots' mission to Mars is the perfect opportunity to unite the Mini-Con weapons.

Decepticon Sky-Byte and Autobot Jetfire arrive on Earth, both intent on destroying their enemy. The two return to their respective factions where they explain to their comrades the story of their feud: after Sky-Byte triggered a destructive supernova, Jetfire pursued him through space, the two destroying countless star systems in their brawls.
