Naval Station Everett (NAVSTA Everett) is a military installation located in the city of Everett, Washington, 25 miles (40 km) north of Seattle. The naval station , located on the city's waterfront on the northeastern end of Puget Sound , was designed as a homeport for a US Navy carrier strike group and opened in 1994.
The major Northwest installations are Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Naval Station Everett, and Naval Base Kitsap (which includes Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Submarine Base Bangor, Naval Undersea Warfare Center - Keyport, Manchester Fuel Depot, and Naval Magazine Indian Island).

Henry Blake ' s primary mission is the maintenance of 80 lighted, 39 unlighted, and 65 shore-based aids to navigation in the Puget Sound area and along the coast of Washington.
