The father of Narasimha Reddy was related to the Palegar (Jagirdar) family of Uyyalawada in Koilakuntla taluk who had married two daughters of the Palegar of Nossam. He had three sons, of whom Narasimha was the youngest and only son of the younger daughter of the Palegar of Nossam, Seethamma. [3]

Mallu Venkata Narasimha Reddy was an Indian revolutionary leader and one of the prominent heroes of the Telangana Rebellion.Remained underground for nine long years, he had organised the armed squads in battling the Nizam's army and the razakars.
B. N. Reddy, as he was known, fought the Razakars during the Nizam’s rule for six years by being underground. He escaped 10 attempts on his life, prominent among them being an attack against him, his wife and infant son by the Razakars near Mahbubabad in Warangal district. Narasimha Reddy broke the army cordon while exchanging fire and escaped.
