LaOtto (sometimes also spelled as Laotto) is a small unincorporated community in Swan Township, Noble County, Indiana, in the U.S. state of Indiana. Herbert Maxwell Sobel (January 26, 1912 – September 30, 1987) [1] [2] was an American soldier who served as a commissioned officer with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, in the 101st Airborne Division during World War II.

The F-4C Phantom II aircraft arrived on 18 November 1979, and the Tail Code "FW" (Fort Wayne) was adopted by the 122nd TFW. The unit flew this new aircraft to Balikesir Air Base , Turkey in 1983 for exercise "Coronet Crown," and once again in 1986 for exercise "Coronet Cherokee".
