Looking at Striker’s web site and comparing the Climate, Hardwater and the Predator, I have a couple of questions for owners of those suits. I fish in weather from -20 to 40 deg and ...
Striker Suit Maintenance. Tweet. Nathan Lindall. Eden Prairie, MN. Posts: 33. December 17, 2017 at 3:02 pm #1736302. This is my first year fishing a dedicated ice suit (Predator with defender gloves) and it completely transforms the experience on those cold windy days. First ice was a slay fest and just about every inch of my bibs and gloves ...
Looking for sizing on the Striker Ice suits. I am 6’2″ 225lbs and am thinking the xl in the bibs and possibly 2xl for the jacket.
My primary need is rain gear. The want is new ice gear but not a must have thing. Was toying with the idea of IF the lightest ice gear would double over for rain or be way too hot. Even with the cheap rain fair bibs I get hot in 40ish degree temps. So the ice gear is a gross overkill on my needs. Appreciate everyone’s feedback.

Mine get so bad inside that it often takes several cycles in the washer just to get then part way clean. I don’t think you can ever get the fish smell out of the inside of Mittens or Gloves.
Versatility is the best with this suit. All the suits are really warm, but with the liners out you climate suit can be worn for fall fishing and early spring. Some of the other suits would just be way to warm for these periods. Been wearing Climate for 10 years.
After many review i thinking of either the Ice Armor or the Striker. It seems the Striker is the best setup, Heard the Ice Armor was like wearing a garbage bag. I went to gander today and tried on the Striker. I put the large one on and seemed tight around the nutz (lol, only way to describe it). They only had the predictor or i would have ...

I fished the brainerd tourney this year with my striker ice floating suit. -40 to -50 windchill , no shacks i layered in that weather because of the wind, but that was the only time. i was plenty warm that day, almost sweating. any other time, i am plenty warm without layering. matter of fact, when ...
Wife and I Have the predator suit. Love them but not “water proof”. As far as CO and rain gear def. larger membrane used. Got soaked thru in a light rain on ice in ID last February Was told to use topical treatments to help seal fabric by striker. I was educated that there is “water proof” and a “snow water proof”.
