St. Johns Railway Company[edit] The St. Johns Railway Company, hereinafter referred to as the St. Johns, was incorporated by a special act of the State of Florida, approved December 31, 1858. It constructed a standard gauge line of railroad extending from Tocoi to St. Augustine, Fla., a distance of about 15.25 miles.
