"Sissy's Song" is an acoustic mid-tempo country ballad, written by Jackson as a tribute to a housekeeper named Leslie "Sissy" Fitzgerald, who worked daily at Jackson's house. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] Jackson wrote the song after Sissy died in a motorcycle accident on May 20, 2007.
