Hạ Long Bay or Halong Bay (Vietnamese: Vịnh Hạ Long, IPA: [vînˀ hâːˀ lawŋm] ⓘ) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular travel destination in Quảng Ninh province, Vietnam. The name Hạ Long means "descending dragon". Administratively, the bay belongs to Hạ Long city, Cẩm Phả city, and is a part of Vân Đồn district.
It, along with the eastern part known colloquially as Hòn Gai, together make up the city of Hạ Long. [2] Known as the city's "tourism zone", many hotels, beach resorts and other tourism hotspots are located within Bãi Cháy. [3] The ward was linked to Hòn Gai via a ferry line until the inauguration of the Bãi Cháy Bridge in 2006. [4]

Hà Tĩnh (Vietnamese: [hâː tǐŋ̟ˀ] ⓘ) is a city in Vietnam. [1] It is the capital of Hà Tĩnh Province, and lies in the North Central Coast region. It is located on National Highway 1A.
In 1991, Cửu Long was again split into Vĩnh Long and Trà Vinh. At the time of the split, Vĩnh Long province consisted of one city and five districts: Long Hồ, Vũng Liêm, Bình Minh, Tam Bình, and Trà Ôn. In 1992, Mang Thít District was re-split from Long Hồ District. In 2007, Bình Tân District was created.
Bạch Long Vĩ island is located in the Gulf of Tonkin, about halfway between Haiphong and Hainan Island ().The island is an offshore district of Haiphong city. Fishing comprises the majority of economic activity in the Gulf of Tonkin, and Bạch Long Vĩ is a major nursery and harvesting area for fish eggs.
