Montgomery College (MC) is a public community college in Montgomery County, Maryland. The school was founded in 1946 as Montgomery Junior College. Four years later, it absorbed the 57-year-old Bliss Electrical School, which became the junior college's electrical program. The college has three campuses, the largest of which is in Rockville.
In 1948, the University of Kentucky Northern Extension Center was founded in Covington. It is the unofficial beginning of the University of Kentucky Community College System—although this campus no longer operates as a community college, as it became a separate four-year institution in 1968 and is now known as Northern Kentucky University.

The Maysville Campus (formerly Maysville Community College) is in Maysville, Kentucky. Its original building is the 53,000-square-foot (4,900 m 2) Administration Building constructed in 1969. In 1983, the 16,231-square-foot (1,507.9 m 2) Denham Wing was added.
