Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a Hindu religious and spiritual organisation focused on humanitarian work. It was founded in 1917 by the illustrious patriot saint Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavananda Maharaj. It is purely a philanthropic and charitable organization with non-sectarian, non-communal and non-political character and outlook.
Hridaypur is notable for the Pranavananda Matri Ashram which is an orphanage for girls following the ideals and teachings of Swami Pranavananda, the founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha. The ashram also houses a school where a large number of children of the local area study.

The Gaudiya Mission (Bengali: গৌড়ীয় মিশন) is a Gaudiya Vaishnava monastic and missionary organization. The organisation has been registered since March 1940 in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) under the supervision of the then acharya, Ananta Vasudev (a.k.a.
