As the size of the Orphanage increased, it was shifted to Azimpur near Lalbagh in 1913. That year, Governor Lord Carmichael visited the orphanage. Nawab Salimullah paid all the expenses of the orphanage till his death. After his death in 1915, the orphanage fell into financial crisis. At that time, many people in Dhaka provided financial support.
