Bagac, officially the Municipality of Bagac (Tagalog: Bayan ng Bagac), is a municipality in the province of Bataan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 31,365 people, making it the least populated municipality in the province.
Bataan is one of the most progressive provinces of Luzon and Manila Bay Region, and a key contributor to the region's overall economic productivity. Its Provincial Product Account (PPA) also known as Provincial GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is the 10th biggest out of 82 provinces in the Philippines, valued at PhP275.11-billion. [ 53 ]

It straddles the northern half of Bataan Peninsula near its border with Subic Bay Freeport Zone, encompassing the Bataan towns and cities of Hermosa, Orani, Samal, Abucay, Balanga, Bagac and Morong. It borders Bagac to the west and northwest, Limay to the north and northeast, and Manila Bay to the east. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority , the municipality has a land area of 153.90 square kilometres (59.42 sq mi) [ 7 ] constituting 11.21% of the 1,372.98-square-kilometre- (530.11 sq mi) total area of Bataan.
The southwestern municipalities of Bagac and Mariveles were once part of the district until these were reassigned to the third district effective 2022. [4] It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Albert Garcia of the National Unity Party (NUP).
