Frisco ISD operates 77 schools: 12 high schools, 18 middle schools, 43 elementary schools, and 3 special program centers. As of October 27, 2023, there are 28,265 elementary school students, 16,079 middle school students, and 22,357 high school students enrolled in the school district.
Panther Creek completed construction in June of 2022, [5] opening fall of the same year. The school is named after the creek that is by the campus. [6] Panther Creek High school receives students from Stafford and Trent Middle School, and also relieves Lone Star High School and Memorial High school from exceeding 2,100 students.

Frisco High School was founded in 1902. The original building no longer exists, but other previous locations still do: the Frisco ISD Student Opportunity Center (on Maple Street in "Center City" Frisco) was Frisco High School for many years; in fact, the words "Frisco High School" are still etched into the stone above the main entrance.
Independence High School is a public high school located in the city of Frisco, Texas and classified as a 5A school by UIL. It is a part of the Frisco Independent School District located within Collin County. It opened in the fall of 2014 to freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior students. [3] The first class to graduate was the class of 2016.
Iman Academy SW did not fill out the questionnaire and the attached application, and TAPPS denied Iman SW admission into the league. Iman SW did not appeal the decision. [4] As of 2024, the Islamic private school Brighter Horizons Academy is a full member of TAPPS, competing in TAPPS 5A.
