The Polytechnic University of the Philippines Open University System is the nontraditional/distance studies unit of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.It began with the offering of non-degree (technical-vocational) courses in 1970s and was formally established in 1990, making it the first open learning institution in the country.
The campus formerly grants vocational programs under the PUP Open University. It ceased granting vocational courses in 2009 in exchange to offer a four-year degree. The two undergraduate programs are the Bachelor in Secondary Education and the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management.

Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Unisan Extension or PUP-UQ (Filipino: Politeknikong Unibersidad ng Pilipinas, Lungsod ng Unisan) is a satellite campus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines located in the municipality of Unisan, Quezon, Philippines, offering eleven courses, one diploma program and undergraduate programs.
PUP San Pedro Campus was established on April 9, 2002, as an open university center by virtue of a memorandum of agreement signed by then-Mayor Felicismo A. Vierneza of San Pedro, Laguna and then PUP President Ofelia M. Carague. PUP San Pedro initially offered a single curricular program, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Management.
