Lawrenceville is a city in and the county seat of Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. [4] It is a suburb of Atlanta , located approximately 30 miles (50 km) northeast of downtown . It was incorporated on December 15, 1821.
The Loganville and Lawrenceville Railroad (L&L) was founded in 1898 and operated a 10-mile (16 km) line between Loganville and Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA. It was owned by the Georgia, Carolina and Northern Railway which was incorporated into the Seaboard Air Line Railway on 1 July 1900. [1] The L&L was completely abandoned on 17 January 1932. [1]
