Plainfield. Sep 23, 2018. #7. I have beaten my land pride pretty hard, as a tractor beginner my first year was a mistaken belief that all implements and tractors are indestructible. Kinda like when I first got a 4WD truck / figured I could go anywhere anytime. Of course the only difference between 2WD and 4WD is how far I had to get a tractor ...
I have a land pride tiller. Use it once a month for about 6 hours on 4 different food plots. I work fields in northeast pa. Loaded with rocks from baseball to shoebox size. Jam up in the housing. Takes a beating and is reliable. The one food plot 1 acre in size has produced about 4 tons of stone. And is 5 inches lower then the surrounding field .
Background: Land Pride Grapple SGC0660 will not open. Have owned for 3 years with no issues (familiar with quick connectors and how to depressurize before disconnecting) Installed and used on Kubota L4060 for two months with no issues. Dealer installed 3rd function kit Kubota part #L2265. The grapple was in the full closed position when I ...
Hazelridge, Manitoba, Canada. Feb 12, 2015. #1. I'm in the market for a few implements this spring. I'm looking at a tiller and posthole auger for starters. A Landpride RTR1250 is just over $3000 plus tax vs. other brands for $2000-$2500.
L2501 LA525 QA PFL2042 Forks RCR1860 FDR1672 BB1560 EA55 WR Grapple FitRite TnT. I didn't know they had that series when I purchased my PFL2042 forks ($750). The PF1242 looks quite capable and well built. I would just see what works with your loader capacity and needs.
While I think that all the LPGS (land plane grading scraper)work well, weight as well as length are usually your friend when it comes to these implements. I also agree that angled blades work better for road maintenance. I personally would go with a 72" unit for your tractor and as long and heavy as you can afford.
The Land Pride BB2560 is my #2 option though. I agree that weight can be one of the important factors when using a box blade. Like you I like the Woods models, I found Woods very pricey in my area and ended up with a Bush Hog SBX600 (60" wide) for my L series tractor, it weighs 490 lbs, the Woods 60" box blade was listed at 514 lbs. Land Pride ...
Even if I get a deal on Landpride from the dealer, I doubt it will be close to the price of King Kutter from my local Fleet Farm. For a 10% difference, Ill stick with the nice stuff, for 20-40% the "cheap" stuff looks very attractive. I can use the money saved for other implements, or even to upgrade the one or two I really think need it.
93. Canada. Oct 30, 2021. #5. Modified the hitch. So it now fits on the QH05. Plasma cut a slot for the top hook. The height from the lower pins to the top pins was too short. Added 2 washers as spacers and now it fits perfectly.
My Kubota dealer wanted $40+ for the switch (pn 833-739C). I found that the same switch can be purchased from a electronics store for a lot less money. I ended getting my switch from Mouser.com (part number P9-411221) for $12.62. The Land Pride switch has Otto 21649 printed on the bottom of it.
