Farhad Mazhar (Bengali: ফরহাদ মজহার; born 9 August 1947) is a Bangladeshi poet, philosopher, social and human rights activist, and environmentalist. [2] [3] [4] In the aftermath of the recent mass uprising in Bangladesh, he also emerged as a vocal critic of the country's constitution.
Bishwo Shahitto Kendro offers classes on world literature for Higher Secondary students, and also provides every book for those classes. For Secondary and Junior school level it operates a nationwide reading program, and provides books for the students.
