The Peninsula Paris is an historic luxury hotel and also part of the Palaces de France originally known as the Hotel Majestic, located on Avenue Kléber in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, France. It opened in 1908 as the Hotel Majestic and was converted to government offices in 1936.

In 2016 and 2018, William Reed Business Media named Osteria Francescana the best restaurant in the world that year in their annual The World's 50 Best Restaurants .
The house, on an irregular site at the tip of the Île Saint-Louis in the heart of Paris, was designed by architect Louis Le Vau. [1] It was built between 1640 and 1644, originally for the financier Jean-Baptiste Lambert (d. 1644) and continued by his younger brother Nicolas Lambert, later president of the Chambre des Comptes .
In 1972, it was bought by Concorde Hotels and Resorts and renamed the Hotel Concorde Saint-Lazare Paris and then the Hotel Concorde Opéra Paris in 2009. [ 4 ] The hotel was purchased by Hilton in 2013, [ 1 ] underwent a restoration costing over $50 million, and was reopened in 2015 as the Hilton Paris Opéra.
