The Marshall University Memorial Fountain is a memorial fountain next to the Memorial Student Center, in Huntington, West Virginia. The fountain was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 19th, 2024. [4] Designed by Harry Bertoia, the fountain stands 13 feet tall and weighs over 6,500 pounds.
It was built in 1923 and was originally for the one-term mayor Charles Campbell, [2] and is an 11,710 square-foot, Neoclassical and Greek Revival dwelling. [3] The building was later purchased by Marshall University in 1971.
