I'm pretty sure Amazon also has a store-exclusive credit card, but the one I'm referring to (Amazon Prime Rewards Visa) is a Chase Bank credit card. The benefit is that you'll earn 5% back on Amazon purchases and at Whole Foods stores, 2% on gas, restaurants & drugstores, and 1% everywhere else.

Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card by Chase. Amazon.com Store Card by Synchrony. Amazon Business Prime by American Express. Out of these, the Synchrony one seems the worst (doesn't come with any extras, other than financing on purchases). The Chase and Amex ones seem basically identical (they both come with purchase protection, car rental ...

I was just buying a few things on amazon and it offered me a free $100 gift card if I signed up for the Amazon store card. Which would pay for my whole transaction and save me a few bucks. But currently I use the Amazon Chase Visa for all my payments and pay it off every week so it never builds up and just gets me free money on Amazon.

  5. Is the Amazon Prime Chase credit card difficult to get?

    www.reddit.com/r/CreditCards/comments/c6x6xp/is_the_amazon_prime_chase_credit...

Supposedly the Amazon credit card should be a bit less difficult to get than some of the other Chase cards, since it is cobranded. Cobranded cards have some contract where the issuer must give a certain number of approvals. But then if you are a beginner and already got approved for a card fairly recently, then that may be a factor.

The Amazon credit card earns only cashback while the Chase non-cobranded cards earn UR points. You can technically deposit the Chase Amazon credit card cashback to your bank account and then convert the UR points to cashback to deposit it also to your bank account in order to use them towards the same purchase.

The my chase plan is a way of financing purchases essentially by having you pay a fixed amount each month with extra cost. If you use the amazon cards like a typical credit card, charge things and pay off your balance each month should be no extra fees or charges you incur.

  9. Does the amazon credit card normally give such huge limits?

    www.reddit.com/r/CreditCards/comments/182gq8b/does_the_amazon_credit_card...

Chase has always been my biggest lender. My Amazon card has a 15k, chase freedom is 25, CSR is another 25. My next highest is a Discover I've had since I was 18 and it's at 10. I also have no other major relationship with Chase, no investments or other banking. The only other thing I've had through them is an auto loan on a Subaru for about 33.

Does the Amazon credit card have any fees with it besides late fees? I read through the fees list and honestly don’t understand any of it lol. Something really confusing to me is this: “Monthly fee of 1.72% of the amount of each eligible purchase transaction or amount selected to create a My Chase Plan.

The prime card is for the account holder, so it'd be in your partner's name. But if they are willing, you can set up an Amazon Household. This allows you to share prime benefits with one other Amazon account. Once you have your own prime account, you can apply for your own prime credit card.
