The University of Nigeria, commonly referred to as UNN, is a federal and public research university located in Nsukka, Enugu State, Eastern part of Nigeria.Founded in 1955 by Nnamdi Azikiwe [5] [6] [7] who was the Governor General of Nigeria between 1960 and 1963, [8] and first President of Nigeria between 1963 and 1966.
