William Oliver Swofford (February 22, 1945 – February 12, 2000), known professionally as Oliver, was an American pop singer, best known for his 1969 song "Good Morning Starshine" from the musical Hair as well as "Jean" (the theme from the film The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie).
"Baby Girl" is a debut song co-written and recorded by American country music group Sugarland. Originally released in 2003 as part of Premium Quality Tunes , [ 2 ] it was re-released in July 2004 as the first single from the album Twice the Speed of Life .

Shots of the band alternate between infrared shots of a couple. As the song progresses, the band starts to smash their instruments.
