We currently serve a 5-county area in southwestern Illinois, offering an adoption program for homeless animals. An adoption application must be filled out and approved by MEHS staff prior to an adoption. Adoption fees are $175 for dogs over 4 months of age, $200 for puppies under 4 months of age.
Today, both locations are open to the public 7 days a week and house adoptable dogs, cats and kittens waiting to meet you! Puppies, when we have them, will only be located at our Edwardsville location.
