The eLSD rear differential is only in the 4th gen. Haldex system which Ford is not using. Ford's in-house AWD uses an electronically controlled center differential to send power to the rear when needed (as opposed to the original Haldex mechanical unit that only transfers torque when slip occurs).

Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) yes the AdvanceTrac it flashes on when it looses traction the front wheels are spinning and rear wheels are doing nothing, It's like front wheel drive only! The issue you are having with the car may (very likely!) fall under TSB 07-18-6 SEPTEMBER 2007 Drivetrain - Front Axle Clicking/Ratcheting Noises ( replace front CV shafts). Ford Fusion TSB 07-18-6 should be covered under the 2007 Powertrain Coverage ( 5 years or 60 000 miles, whichever occurs first for all 2007 Fusion/Milan models).
