  2. So you want an active duty tour... : r/armyreserve - Reddit

Carrera came out of the Army Software Factory and provides a better user experience than ToD. You can sort/filter ToD and Carrera opportunities by rank, MOS, location, date posted, and other fields. Postings in these systems are tied to a particular rank and MOS.

Sometimes the rank and mos requirements are not a show stopper. I'm warrant and applied for and was approved for A 1 year tour in Italy by applying to an E5 opening. I called the POC numbers to find out. I've browsed around a bit on carrera and most of the options for my rank/mos are quite slim. I'm sure it changes quite often, but I was just ...

If you see a position on there and hit apply, it’ll submit the profile and documents you have uploaded on TOD. And it even gives you the POC to reach the unit directly. Carrera seems to go thru phases where it’s 1 to 1 what’s on TOD. I think currently it’s a bit behind though. 1.

  5. Deployments from Carrera/TOD? : r/army - Reddit

Also, before you apply, just send a heads up to your chain, letting them know your intentions. The biggest obstacle I've encountered is for something called an O6 Memo, it takes 45+ days to get it back you can't get released without that. I'm a Guardsman that is looking at the tours on Carrera and see a lot of openings in places like Germany.

  6. Applying for deployment on Carrera : r/nationalguard - Reddit

From what I understand Carrera is for research and meeting up the POCs since you can use it on any device. You still need to actually submit on ToD, on a gov computer. They added the ability to apply directly through the site. Can only apply through TOD AFAIK.

  10. WIAS/MOPCOB/Carrera assignments : r/army - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/army/comments/148o6xg/wiasmopcobcarrera_assignments

S1net on milsuite has the application process. Reserve/NG can apply to WIAS/MOBCOB without the need of an O-6 letter of release. Active Duty can only apply for WIAS taskers with an O-6 letter of release. I don’t know what Carrera is. Was browsing through these jobs. There’s some pretty sweet jobs and locations, but I got a couple of ...
