The Porsche Carrera GT (Project Code 980) is a mid-engine [4] sports car that was manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Porsche from 2004 [5] to 2006. Sports Car International named the Carrera GT number one on its list of Top Sports Cars of the 2000s, and number eight on its Top Sports Cars of All Time list.
The new GTS improves on those characteristics, with Porsche Active Ride suspension that irons out the bumps on the road, new aero and design bits, and nearly 100 more horsepower, now hitting 690 hp.

The Cayman GTS was introduced in 2014, and is based on the 981 platform. It featured a marginally more powerful engine, a new body kit, new 20-inch Carrera S wheels, new Bi-Xenon headlights, and a new sports exhaust system. The Cayman GTS is longer than the Cayman and the Cayman S by 30.5 mm (1.2 in) due to its bumpers.
The 718 GTS variant of the Cayman and Boxster received generally positive reviews. Visually, the front headlight and rear taillights were smokey black, and an aggressive front sports fascia was added. Performance upgrades included Porsche Sports Exhaust, a Sports Chrono Package, Porsche Stability Management were all added as standard features.
Porsche launched the Carrera GTS, Carrera 4 GTS, and Targa 4 GTS in 2021. The Carreras both used the twin-turbocharged 3L flat-6 which produced a power of 480 PS (473 hp; 353 kW) and a maximum torque of 651 N⋅m (480 lb⋅ft), while the Targa used the same engine but with a displacement of 2.9L.
