  2. Rough Country leveling kit Pros & Cons - RAM FORUM

After reading reviews of this leveling kit I am having 2nd thoughts. How hard will it be to change my struts later with this leveling kit? Where can I get a 1.75" rear coil spacer for $50? I could go HellBent 2.5" and someone else's rear spacer. Is the Rough Country a true 2.5" lift in fron or just 2"

  3. 2 inch rough country level kit install. Issues? - 5thGenRams...

    5thgenrams.com/community/threads/2-inch-rough-country-level-kit-install-issues...

The company in my town has put on many kits from RC in the past, but the owner is racking his head over where the noise is coming from. They have tightened everything they know to tighten, but no change. Called Rough Country and they claim to not have heard of any issues. Sounds like a hollow thumping sound on any bump, large or small.

I have found a safety issue with the rough country 2.5" leveling kit though. I contacted rough country about it and then called back this morning to see what the engineers had said/found. I had my leveling kit installed last Monday at a local shop who has a very good reputation, and who does good work.

I installed a Rough County 2.5 in lift kit on of my 2015 Ram 1500. I've noticed a lot of squeaking coming from the front end. I inspected and found the lower control arms are rubbing the spinldes on both sides. Didn't read anything about that in the reviews before purchasing the kit. Anyone...

    5thgenrams.com/community/threads/new-rough-country-2-leveling-kit-for-air-ride...

Called rough country a few times and they said they would “let R&D know since it’s a new product” I suggested they make the lift to only 1”, That way you won’t overextend your bags in the higher settings and cause them to not work.

Okay I’m gonna need some assistant, today I was about to add the 2.5” rough country leveling kit but after I read everyone’s posts about the rough country leveling kit on the forum, I decided to back out on installing them. When I started putting everything back together I noticed that this wasn’t attached nicely like the driver side?

Any leveling spacer will stiffen the front suspension. Some people will say it rides rough others like myself don't notice much of a change or like a little stiffer ride. You are going to get people say rough country is junk. I disagree, I've used their products for years with zero issues.

  10. Anyone running the Rough Country 2.5" leveling kit?

    www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/anyone-running-the-rough-country-2-5-leveling...

Go with the Bilstein 2.5" from Stage 3. I would recommend heavily against Rough Country, their parts are absolute garbage and you'd be doing your truck a disservice. Bilstein and Eibach both make an affordable kit for leveling. I have the bilsteins on the front & rear and it was a massive upgrade in ride quality.

  11. Leveling Strut Options - Bilstein vs. Rough Country

    5thgenrams.com/.../threads/leveling-strut-options-bilstein-vs-rough-country.27279

Looking for leveling options on my 19 Laramie. Don’t want to do a spacer and ruin the ride quality by preloading the spring. So that leaves new front struts.. Option 1: Rough Country N3 leveling struts - has new springs and struts so this should retain OEM ride quality pretty well
