Don Davis (April 10, 1933 – February 4, 2016) was an American gun retailer, the owner of Don's Guns and Galleries, a firearms retailer in Indianapolis, Indiana.He claimed to be the largest independent gun dealer in the United States, [1] and his store has been called the largest public display of firearms in America. [2]

The Davidson-Duryea gun carriage was originally a 3 wheel armed vehicle built by the Duryea Motor Wagon Company in the 1899. The gun carriage was ordered by Royal Page Davidson of the Northwestern Military and Naval Academy in Highland Park, Illinois .
In 1917 Mr. Davis moved to Claremore, Oklahoma and purchased the Mason Hotel. By 1929, he had accumulated over 99 types of guns, and at that time he had begun to display his collection on the walls of the Mason Hotel. He collected items ranging from a 500-year-old Chinese hand cannon, to the world's smallest manufactured gun.
