Port St. Johns (or Port Saint Johns) is a town of about 6,500 people on the Wild Coast in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It is situated at the mouth of the Umzimvubu River , 220 kilometres (140 mi) northeast of East London and 70 kilometres (40 mi) east of Mthatha .
Port St. John is a census-designated place located between Titusville and Cocoa in Brevard County, Florida. The population was 23,474 at the 2020 United States Census , up from 12,267 at the 2010 United States Census . [ 5 ]
There are plans to realign the N2 national route from Port Shepstone to Mthatha along a shorter stretch of road that passes through Port Edward, Lusikisiki and Port St. Johns. [ 5 ] [ 6 ] [ 7 ] The project was initially scheduled for completion in 2024 and is expected to reduce the length of the route by 85 kilometres (53 mi).
