I bought a brand new HP computer. Came with windows 11. I bought it specifically to do by cricut work. And I can’t :( I have tried to undo the windows 11 update. Hello, this is Emily. From one Cricut user to another, unfortunately none of those apps in the Microsoft Store is the official Cricut Design Space Cricut actually doesn't have an app for the Microsoft store, and you will have to switch out of S mode to install the Design Space.
When I download the Cricut Design Space to my new laptop it indicates it cannot load due to S mode. Cricut support staff indicate that their app is compatible with Windows 10 and 11 and that I should disable S mode. From what I read, this however could cause other problems. What is the safe workaround?
Windows 11 is essentially the same as WIndows 10 with a new GUI. I would reinstall the Cricut app you want so it claims the file types associated with it. If it was upgraded from WIndows 10 then it probably needs reinstall, so look for it in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features to Uninstall, restart WIndows and then install it from a fresh download.
This setting in Windows 11 is at Windows Settings > Apps > Advanced App Settings > Choose Where to get apps > Anywhere. Tried to download and then open Cricut on the new laptop. Unable to open showing that the app is not Microsoft approved and I should go the app store which does not have it. For help from Cricut it states to change my app settings. Tried on my other laptop and no issues. What do I do to have this work on the HP laptop?
I'm unable to use Cricut Design Space on my new laptop with Windows 11. I just purchased a new laptop and recently set it up, however, it won't let me download or open Cricut Design Space and I haven't tried Canva yet, but both apps are vital to my small business and that's the purpose for me purchasing it so that I'm able to work from anywhere.
Whenever I try to connect any bluetooth device (I've tried three different ones now) to my desktop PC running Windows 11, nothing shows up. It just keeps showing the "Add a device" loading screen,
